How can I possibly make a difference?

I get that question a lot. There are literally hundreds of ways I can answer it from specific ideas to more esoteric and philosophical responses. But since its on my mind as my kids are going through quart after quart of juice the last week and I am going through a case of soda a day (yes, I know, I am going to die young), here is one specific idea:

  1. Head to the store and grab a $5 case of bottled water.
  2. Put said case of bottled water in the back of your car.
  3. When you see someone on the side of the road, give them a bottle of water.
  4. (alternatively) you can make an event of it and go directly to Civic Center and pass out the waters, just be sure to bring some friends and several cases if you go this route.

That is it. You may very well save lives.
